James “Jim” Vincent Naticchioni, 63, of Lancaster, passed away with his family by his side on Friday, December 6, 2013, at Hospice and Community Care, Mt. Joy.
Born on Saturday, July 8, 1950, in Woburn, MA, he was a son of the late Angelo V. and Bertha J. Berard Naticchioni. He is also preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Marie Naticchioni and a sister, Jeanette Errington. From opening day, ten years ago, Jim worked as a parking attendant for the Lancaster Barnstormers. He enjoyed cheering for his favorite NASCAR driver, Carl Edwards #99, and the Boston Red Sox, Boston Bruins and the New England Patriots. “Jim-bo” also enjoyed fishing with friends.
He is survived by his loving companion of eight years, Janice M. Medora, of Lancaster; former wife, Rhonda Naticchioni, of New Providence; step-son, Carl “JR” Jones, Jr., of Lancaster; step-daughters, Elva Zook and her husband, Daniel, of Columbia, Michelle Rosa and her husband, Luis, of Lancaster, Lynnette Conley, of Wilson, NC, Stacey Ortiz and her husband, Juan, Lindsay Lamping and her husband, Charles King, all of Lancaster, and Charlene Cunningham and her husband, Scott, of New Providence; fourteen step-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; five sisters, Paula Paige of Phenix City, AL, Angela Hughes of Pownal, Vt, Margaret “Peggy” Christie of Revere, MA, Eileen Doherty of Woburn, MA and Virginia Rivas of Norfolk, VA; a brother Patrick Naticchioni of Woburn, MA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service is being planned for a later date with Pastor Ron Ressler officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in Jim’s name to the Hospice and Community Care, P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125.
