James D. "Jimmy" Stambaugh

James D. “Jimmy” Stambaugh, 61. of Hanover, husband of Susan Stambaugh, entered God’s eternal care Thursday, September 25, 2014 at his home.

Born on Saturday, March 21, 1953 in Hanover, he was a son of the late Walter Davis Gray and Shirley Smith. He was a former employee of Holland Properties and loved to cook in his free time.

In addition to his wife of 18 years, he is survived by two daughters, Jaime McGlaughlin and her husband, Mike, of Aspers, and Karrie Lynn Rutter of Salisbury, MD; two step-children Marlo Mathews and her husband, Ben, and Sean Scarangella, all of Hanover; a sister, Cynthia Miller and her husband, Steve, of Hellam; and a brother, David Gray, and his wife, Patti, of Newfoundland.

The funeral will be held at 8 pm Monday, September 29, 2014 at Panebaker Funeral Home, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover with The Rev. Kenneth S. Heasley officiating. The family will receive friends at a viewing to be held from 6 pm until the time of the service on Monday.
