Jacob Timothy Lau, 20, of Hanover, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 11, 2021.
Born on Friday, September 15, 2000 in St. Petersburg, FL, he was a son of Travis and Jill Clemens Lau of Hanover. Jacob was a 2018 graduate of South Western High School and had attended Kutztown University. He will be remembered for his generous and quick witted personality, how easy to get along with he was and for his love of making music. Jacob had a great sense of humor and his uncontrollable bouts of laughter will be deeply missed.
In addition to his parents, survivors include two brothers, Samuel and Thomas Lau, of the home; maternal grandmother, April Clemens of New Columbia; paternal grandfather, Timothy Lau of Seven Valleys; aunts and uncles, Nicholas and Kristi Clemens of White River Junction, VT, and Vickey and Howe Grover of Atlantic Beach, FL; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, William “Bill” Clemens and paternal grandmother, Karen Linch Lau.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 PM Friday, February 19, 2021 at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover. In compliance with health and public safety directives, those attending the visitation will be required to wear masks, be socially distanced and attendance inside the funeral home will be limited.
