Services: The funeral will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 25, 2008 at Panebaker Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. C.L. Roark officiating. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the Hanover Allied Veteran's Honor Guard.
Visitation: The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Jack Eugene Krenzer, 79, of Hanover, passed away on Monday, September 22, 2008 at Hanover Hospital. Born on November 20, 1928 to the late Catherine Gross Dull, he was a native and lifelong resident of Hanover. Serving in the United States Navy during World War II, he was with the Occupational Forces during the Phillipine Liberation and was aboard the USS Bremerton in the South Pacific. He later became a member of the American Legion Post #0014. He was employed by Kuhn Motors for over 30 years. An avid hunter, fisherman and gardener, he was a member of the McSherrystown Fish and Game and the National Rifle Association. He loved his family and his dogs.Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Mary Krenzer; four sons, Scott E. Krenzer, John E. Krenzer and his wife Susan, Randall E. Krenzer and his wife Virginia and Perry A. Krenzer and his wife Shannon; three grandchildren, Paul Krenzer, Dianne Krenzer and Jeanne Krenzer and a step-granddaughter, Madison Heebner.
