Irene Margaret Hendershot
Irene Margaret Hendershot, 86, wife of the late Gilbert A. Hendershot, Sr., went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at her home in Hanover.
Born November 10, 1926 in Easton, PA, she was a daughter of the late Nile and Margaret Force Hendershot. Mrs. Hendershot loved watching soap operas and doing crossword puzzles.
She is survived by her daughters; Betty Jacoby and Patricia Johnson; sons; Gilbert Hendershot, II and Nile Hendershot; 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; and her sisters Francis and Betty.
A memorial service will be held at 7pm Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at Panebaker Funeral Home, Inc, 311 Broadway, Hanover with The Rev. John Parichuk officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service.
