Henry W. "Bill" Gittings Jr.
Henry W. “Bill” Gittings, Jr., 69, of Hanover, beloved husband of Virginia Lynn Gittings, entered into God’s eternal care on Monday, January 10, 2022 at his home.
Born on Saturday, August 9, 1952 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Henry W. Gittings, Sr. and Dorothy Saunders Gittings. He attended St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church. Gifted with his hands, he enjoyed whittling, doing woodwork and painting.
In addition to his wife of 20 years, survivors include two daughters, Valerie Gittings and Martina Redel; a son, William Redel; two sisters, Mary Merryman and Ann Keener; and five grandchildren, Alexis Guinn, Alexis Hodges, Ryan and Autumn Brown, and Brayden Burnette.
Services will be held privately.
