Services: The funeral will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, August 20, 2009 at the St. Mark Evangelical Lutheran Church, 129 Charles Street, Hanover with The Rev. Kirk A. Griffin officiating. Burial will follow in the St. David’s (Sherman) Church Cemetery.
Visitation: The family will receive friends 10-11:00AM Thursday at the church.
Helen E. Storm, 81, of Hanover, entered into God’s eternal care Monday, August 17, 2009 at her home.Born September 6, 1927 in Hanover, she was a daughter of the late Howard D. and Erma Suella Bechtel Hoff. She was the wife of 50 years of the late Paul E. Storm, who died in 1996; and was also preceded in death by a brother, Willard D. Hoff, and a sister, Anna Hoff Wildasin.Mrs. Storm was a former employee of Revonah and Malcolm Spinning Mills, and Penland Paper. She was a member of the St. Mark Evangelical Lutheran Church and was a former member of the Hanover Chapter #378 Order of the Eastern Star and Harmony Court #146 Order of the Amaranth.Survivors include her daughter, Sue A. Buck, and husband Michael, of Abbottstown; a granddaughter, Heather A. Yeager, and husband Brandon, of Hanover; two great-grandsons, Ashton and Luke Yeager; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Compassionate Care Hospice, 2449 S. Queen Street, York, PA 17402 or to the St. Mark Evangelical Lutheran Church Organ Fund, 129 Charles Street, Hanover, PA 17331.
