Helen G. Hoover, 82, of Cross Keys Village, New Oxford, formerly of Hanover entered into God's eternal care 11:10 p.m. Friday evening, September 21, 2007 at The Brethren Home Community. She was the loving wife of Louis A. Hoover to whom she married over 59 years. Born in Boston, MA on February 5, 1925, she was the daughter of the late John and Harriet Denehy Gagin. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter Harriet L. Gillan, 2 granddaughters Elizabeth C. Beth Gillan and Margaret A. Maggie Gillan all of Hampstead, MD. A funeral service to remember and celebrate her life will be held 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, at Panebaker Funeral Home, 311 Broadway, Hanover, PA. Viewing will be at the funeral home Wednesday from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. The Rev. Kenneth S. Heasley will officiate. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in New England.
