Helen Becker, 95, of Biglerville, peacefully entered into God’s eternal care on Sunday, July 30, 2023 at Laurel Lakes Rehabilitation in Chambersburg.
Born on Monday, March 5, 1928 in Somerset County, she was a daughter of the late George and Magdalena Kuniac Nestranski. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, George A. Becker, who died in 2010; a son, George Jeffrey “Jeff” Becker; a grandson, Troy A. Becker; a brother, George Nestranski; and a sister, “Manny” Rillo. She was a graduate of Shade High school in Somerset County. Helen will always be remembered for being a hardworking person who along with her husband, owned and operated Becker’s Hill Tavern in Spring Grove.
Survivors include her last surviving child, Keith Becker of Biglerville; four grandchildren, Alana, Austin, Louisa and Emma; six great-grandchildren, Noah, Kade, Chloe, George, Brooks and Odessa.
A private service is planned.
