Harold L. Reynolds, 76, of Hanover, husband of Barbara Phillips Reynolds, entered into God’s eternal care on Monday, December 28, 2020 at Transitions Healthcare in Gettysburg from complications of COVID-19.
Born on Tuesday, February, 1, 1944 in Hanover, he was a son of the late Glenn Reynolds and Geraldine Louey Adams. He was employed by Conewago Enterprises for 45 years and was a member of the Hanover First Church of God. Harold had a passion for being outdoors, especially hunting. He also enjoyed working in the yard and going to flea markets.
Surviving, in addition to his wife of 43 years, are five children, Matthew Reynolds and his wife, Angie, of Hanover, Linda Colkitt and her husband, Kieth, of Gettysburg, Barbara Ketterman and her husband, Barry, of New Oxford, Judy Becker and her husband, Allen, of Newville, and Evon Wiseman and her husband, Ron, of Fairfield; two step-daughters, Kristin Phillips and her husband, Derick Sanders, of Lancaster, and Julie Phillips of Hanover; two half-sisters, Ellen Evans and her husband, Jack, of Annapolis, MD, and Sandra Laughman of Bonneauville; three half-brothers, Michael Adams and his wife, Kathy, of East Berlin, Tim Wildasin and his wife, Joan, of Hanover, and Gordon Reynolds and his wife, Sarah, of Arizona; 18 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 1 PM Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 725 Baltimore Street, Hanover.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
