Gretchen Ann Robinette, 81, of Hanover, entered into God’s eternal care on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at Hanover Hall Nursing Center.
Born Sunday, November 12, 1933 in Baltimore, MD, she was a daughter of the late George and Eleanor Janos Wagner. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, James H. Robinette, Sr., who died in 2008; a son, James H. Robinette, Jr.; a sister, May Jane Stone; and a brother, George Wagner. Mrs. Robinette enjoyed her work as a waitress, having served at various area restaurants. She was attended the Apostolic Christian Fellowship in Owings Mills, MD.
Survivors include five daughters, Eleanor Ann Robinette of Baltimore, Dorothy J. Chrisinger and her husband, Gary, of Columbus, OH, Mary T. Avramidis and her husband, John, of Hanover, Evelyn D. Moore and her husband, Randy, of Abbottstown, and Denise T. Warner of Hanover; one son, Christopher David Robinette and his wife, Evelyn, of Hanover; a daughter-in-law, Gabrielle Robinette of Hanover; two brothers, Richard and Joseph Wagner; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 2 pm Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Panebaker Funeral Home, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover, with Pastor Stephen Propalis officiating. Burial will follow in Jefferson Cemetery.
The family will receive friends 6 to 8:00 pm Friday at the funeral home.
