Services: A Memorial service will be held 4 pm Monday, April 27, 2009 at Panebaker Funeral Home with The Rev. Kenneth S. Heasley officiating.
Visitation: There will be no public viewing.
Gregory A. Howard, 52, of York, entered into God’s eternal care on Thursday, April 23, 2009 at his residence.Born on September 19, 1956, he was a native and lifelong resident of York and was a son of Spurgeon and Maxine Leathery Howard. He loved the outdoors, often spending time by the river and watching the eagles. He enjoyed his work of tree trimming that allowed him the ability to be outside in nature. He captured this love and this beauty in his paintings.In addition to his parents, he is survived by his three sisters, Brenda L. Leppo, Melody J. Shrader and her husband, Timothy and Wendy S. Huff, all of Hanover; three nephews, Jack Wimsett, Travis Thoman, and Ray Thoman, Jr.; three nieces, Jaime Mumaw, Stephanie Wimsett and Kristin McKain and his special companion cat, whom he adored.
