Visitation: Viewing will be at the funeral home Wednesday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M.
Goldie M. Myers, 93, of Hanover entered into God's eternal care 1:20 p.m. Friday afternoon, September 14, 2007 at Hanover Hall, She was the wife of the late David S. Myers who died July 10, 1994. Born in Hanover on Saturday, August 8, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mabel Kretz Mussleman and raised by her foster mother the late Carrie Grove. Goldie was employed as a salesperson at the former Montgomery Wards in Hanover for many years. She was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church. In 1932, she graduated from Hanover High School. Surviving is a daughter Kathy M. Adams of Hanover, 2 sons Richard E. Myers of Tipp City, OH, William S. Myers of Hanover, 4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and a sister Gladys Pittinger of Hanover. Goldie was also preceded in death by a son Charles R. Myers, a sister Helen Harget, two brothers Richard Mussleman and Charles Mussleman. A funeral service to remember and celebrate her life will be held 10:00 A.M. Wednesday morning at Panebaker Funeral Home, 311 Broadway, Hanover. Viewing will be at the funeral home Wednesday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. The Rev. Dr. David M. Yeiser will officiate. Burial will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 924 N. Colonial Ave., York, PA 17403.
