Glenn C. Butch Wentz, 62, of Hanover entered into God's eternal care Saturday morning, April 28, 2007 at Liberty Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Allentown, PA. Born in Hanover on September 10, 1944, he was the son Catherine H. (Sheetz) Wentz of Hanover and the late Clark E. Wentz. Mr. Wentz was employed by Walmart and had worked in retailing for more than 30 years in the Hanover area. He was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ and a former member of the Hanover Radio Club. If you wanted to find Butch, just inquire where they were playing Bingo, and you'd find him. He was an avid player. In addition to his mother, he is survived by 2 brothers Edward L. and wife Peggy A. Wetnz, and Leroy E. Wentz all of Hanover. A service to remember and celebrate his life will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday morning at Panebaker Funeral Home, 311 Broadway, Hanover. Viewing will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home. Burial will be at Marburg Memorial Gardens. Rev. Bradley E. Rentzel will officiate.
