Gladys L. Mccartney

Gladys L. McCartney, 93, of Hanover, entered into God’s eternal care on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Homewood at Plum Creek.

Born on Thursday, October 7, 1926 in Hanover, she was the daughter of the late Burley T. and Maude Hilker Geiman. She was also preceded in death by her two husbands, Theron Moore, who died in 1983 and Robert McCartney, who died in 1994; and three brothers, Richard, Robert, and Dean Geiman. Gladys retired in 1986 from Hanover General Hospital where she was a receptionist. She attended Christ American Baptist Church and loved gardening.

Survivors include her son, Wayne L. Moore; two grandsons, Matthew and Mark Moore; and four great-grandchildren, Miles, Mason, Lucy and Devin Moore.

The funeral will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at Panebaker Funeral Home, 311 Broadway, Hanover with Pastor Todd Witmer officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
