Geraldine E. Millheim
Geraldine E. Millheim, 89, of Hanover, loving wife of Burnell L. Millheim, entered into God’s eternal care on Thursday, September 2, 2010 at Genesis Healthcare’s Gettysburg Center.
Born on September 18, 1920 in Hanover, she was a daughter of the late Harry A. and Mary R. Kaehler Starner. She was a member of Grace United Church of Christ.
In addition to her husband of 69 years, she is survived by a son, Edwin L. Millheim and his wife, Mary; a daughter, Darla Staub, all of Hanover; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Irving of Hudson, FL and two brothers, Albert “Bud” Starner of Littlestown and John Starner of York. She was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Burnell Millheim and a brother, Harry “Ed” Starner.
The funeral will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at Grace United Church of Christ, with The Rev. Dr. Bruce P. Bouchard and The Rev. Richard Benner officiating. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery. The family will receive friends at a viewing to be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
