Gerald J. “Ski” Gesiorski, 83, of Hanover, beloved husband of Dawn S. Gesiorski, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at UPMC Pinnacle Hanover.
Born on Tuesday, December 3, 1935 in Chicago, he was a son of Pauline Gesiorski Tunis. He was a 1952 graduate of St. Rita & Gage Park High School in Chicago and later served with the US Navy. Ski was a self motivated entrepreneur having owned Juke Musik and Games and A Lil’ Bit of Chicago Restaurant in Hanover. He followed the Chicago Bears and White Sox, but was an avid Cubs fan. He enjoyed art and music and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Surviving, in addition to his wife of 61 years, are two daughters, Kathy J. Sipe and her husband, Morrell, of York Haven, and Carol L. Greenholt and her husband, Gary, of Hanover; and a grandson, Garin C. Greenholt of Higganum, CT.
As per Ski’s wishes, no service is planned. Entombment will be in Chicago, IL.
