George T. Vlachos, 63, of Littlestown, entered into God’s eternal care Monday, August 24, 2009 at Gettysburg Hospital.A native of Baltimore, MD, he had lived in the Hanover area for the last 31 years.Mr. Vlachos is survived by his wife, a daughter, his mother, three sisters, a brother, and many extended family members.
Memorials: Due to his lifelong devotion and care for the well being of horses, the family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Forgotten Treasures Equine Rescue; c/o Kathleen Donohue- FTER; 672 Hickory Road; Littlestown, PA 17340. Memorial contributions in George’s name may also be made to the Nurses Fund; c/o Gettysburg Hospital Foundation; PO Box 3995; Gettysburg, PA 17325-0995.
