Gary L. Riley

Gary L. Riley, 51, of Hanover, died Friday, August 31, 2018 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

Born on January 21, 1967 in Hanover, he was a son of Paul R. Riley, of Hanover, and the late Mary Anna Matthews Riley. He attended Hanover Public Schools and was a work supervisor for Barnett Basement Solutions. Gary was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and enjoyed working on cars.

Surviving, in addition to his father, are three sons, Tyler Wagner, Wesley Riley and Gary L. Riley, Jr.; three brothers, Randy E. Riley, Ricky L. Riley and his wife, Joan, and Paul M. Riley; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, James R. Riley.

A Mass of Christian of Burial will be said at 11 AM on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with The Rev. Msgr. James M. Lyons celebrating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Viewings will be held from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday at Panebaker Funeral Home, 311 Broadway, Hanover and one hour prior to the service at the church.
