Garry J. Tressler, 83, of Hanover, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at Hanover Hall.
Born on Tuesday, September 28, 1937 in Hanover, he was the son of the late Joseph Henry and Freda Kress Tressler. He was a 1956 graduate of Hanover High School and proudly served in the United States Air Force. He worked as a machine operator at Burndy FCI. A skilled chess player, he was named Chess Champion of York County nearly a dozen times.
Left behind to cherish his memory are two sisters, Shirley Eline, of DE, and Karen Mays; and two nephews, Keith and Kevin Mays, all of Hanover.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
