Frances J. Little, 83, formerly of Hanover died Monday, August 16, 2010 at Genesis Healthcare’s Gettysburg Center.
Born July 7, 1927 in Hanover, she was a daughter of the late Charles J. and Clara Rickrode Little. The last of her generation, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Chester, Paul, Henry and Charles Little, and two sisters, Blanche Crooks and Gretna Myers.
Frances was a former employee of the Narrow Ribbon Mill, Hanover Shoe Company, the Pennsylvania State Hospital for Crippled Children in Elizabethtown, and retired from Hanover Hospital after 18 years of service as a nursing assistant. She was a member of Golden Visions and St. Joseph Catholic Church.
She is survived by her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Following cremation, a graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, August 20, 2010 at St. Joseph Cemetery with The Rev. Joseph F. Gotwalt officiating. As per her wishes, there will be no viewing.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5055 Grandview Road, Hanover, PA 17331.
