Frances J. Hood, 80, of Hanover, beloved wife of Woody Hood, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 12, 2016 at Hanover Hospital.
Born on Sunday, March 8, 1936 in Forestville, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Mary A. Garbush Kopinetz. She was also preceded in death by 16 of her siblings.
In addition to her husband of 21 years, survivors include a daughter, Sharon McDonald; three grandsons, Daniel McDonald and Michael and Matthew Hellman; one great-grandchild; one sister, Irene Mistysyn; a step-son, Woodrow Hood, III, and his wife, Tammy; and two step-grandchildren, Emily and Andrew Hood.
No services are planned.
