Evelyn Mae Zinneman, 94, of New Oxford, died Friday, December 23, 2011 at Cross Keys Village—The Brethren Home Community.
Born on September 14, 1917 in Hanover, she was a daughter of the late Calvin and Florence Gobrecht Reynolds and wife of the late Earl Zinneman, who died in 1993. Her brother, Dennis Reynolds, preceded her in death in 2002. She was a member of Calvary Bible Church and earlier in her career, she had been employed by Leinhardt's Furniture Store and the Hanover Evening Sun.
She is survived by her son, Thomas E. Zinneman and wife Ann of Punta Gorda, FL; daughter, Annette L. Bixler of New Oxford; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 1 pm Friday, January 6, 2012 at Panebaker Funeral Home, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover with Pastor Garry Wilt officiating. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery. The family will receive friends at a viewing one hour prior to the service.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Adams County SPCA, 11 Goldenville Road Gettysburg, PA 17325; The Good Samaritan Fund of the Brethren Home Community, 2990 Carlisle Pike, New Oxford, PA 17350; or to the charity of one’s choice.
