Evelyn V. "Evie" Spangler

Evelyn V. “Evie” Spangler, 98, of Hanover, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 2, 2025 at Homewood at Plum Creek.

Born on Saturday, September 18, 1926 in Hanover, she was a daughter of the late George Spangler and Ethel V. Study Spangler. Evelyn was also preceded in death by her three brothers, Charles, Earl, and Paul Spangler. She was employed for many years at Hanover Wood Heel and retired from Revonah Manufacturing. Evelyn enjoyed playing cards, and was a former member of the McSherrystown Senior Center.

Survivors include her daughter, Joyce A. Staub and her husband, Alan; four step grandchildren, Tabitha, Todd, Troy, and Tara Staub; and six step great grandchildren, Gabrielle, Kyle, Steven, Skyler, Hope, and Jessica.

A graveside service will be held at 12 PM on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at Rest Haven Cemetery.
