Evelyn Manning

Evelyn Manning, 91, of Hanover, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 10, 2025 at Wellspan Gettysburg Hospital. 

Born on Wednesday, November 1, 1933 in Okemah, OK, but spent most of her life in Visalia, CA, she was a daughter of the late Ezra Ernst Sutton and Anna Mae Harrelson Sutton. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Manning; her sisters, Anna Jean Howard and Ethelyn York; and two nephews, Christopher York and Lowel Howard. Evelyn obtained her doctorate level degree and retired from the Alexandria Public School System. She was a member of Hope Assembly of God in Ellicott City, MD and attended Bethel Assembly of God in Littlestown. She loved reading and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

Survivors include her two children, Linda Stuller and her husband, James, and Tedd Manning and his wife, Kimberly; seven grandchildren, Jeremy Manning and his wife, Becky, Joseph Denton and his wife, Kimberly, Jeffrey Manning, Jason Manning, Caleb Stuller, Kimberly Baker and her husband, Brian, and Ryan Stuller and his wife, Kati; six great grandchildren, Brody and Hayden Denton, Makenna and Nicholas Baker, and Adeline and Hudson Stuller; niece and nephews, Rob York and his wife, Angela, Becky York, Ron Howard, Keith Howard, and Richard Howard; and the Manning nieces and nephews. 

Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
