E'Mina Shoany Salazar
E’Mina Shoany Salazar, three month old daughter of Tymia Hudson of McSherrystown and Alberto Salazar Gonzalez of New Oxford, died Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at Hanover Hospital.
Born on September 30, 2013 in York, she was a very happy baby who loved to smile for the camera. She was a quiet, independent twin who would watch for her older brother, whom she adored. Her big, beautiful, brown eyes always found bright lights in the room and sparkled when she smiled.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her older brother, Darien and her twin brother, Eiden; maternal grandparents, Gail and David Williams of McSherrystown; paternal grandparents, Martha Gonzalez and Jose Castillo, both of New Oxford; four aunts, Karla and Karen Castillo, Beonka Hudson and Nicole Miller; five uncles, Alexander Castillo, Luis Salazar, Dwayne Hudson, Cory Sorrells and Latrell Williams and many cousins.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am Monday, January 27, 2014 at St. Francis Xavier Church, 22 West High St. Gettysburg with The Rev. Bernardo Pistone serving as celebrant. The family will receive friends at a viewing one hour prior to the service at the church.
