Elizabeth Grace Brigham, 4 months, 9 days old of Hanover, PA entered Heaven on Monday, January 31, 2011. Elizabeth Grace, daughter of Lisa M. Duffy and William H. Brigham III, was born with a genetic disorder known as Trisomy 18, or “Edwards Syndrome”. During the course of her short life, she spent 11 weeks in the care of the compassionate medical team in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Penn State Hershey Medical Center. Elizabeth Grace, with her beautiful blue eyes, and full head of dark hair, captured the hearts of all who came to know her and became affectionately known to many as both “Miss” Elizabeth, and “Princess” Elizabeth.
Elizabeth Grace is survived by maternal grandparents Robert C. and Judy D. Vogel of Myerstown, PA, siblings Lauren and Michael Duffy of Hanover, and Abby and Will Brigham of Las Vegas NV, as well as other aunts, uncles, cousins, and special family friends.
Her viewing will take place, Sunday, February 6 at Panebaker Funeral Home, Inc. 311 Broadway in Hanover, beginning at 2:30 p.m. concluding with a prayer service at 5 p.m. A second viewing will take place at 9 a.m. Monday, February 7 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5125 Grandview Road in Hanover.
A Mass of Christian burial will then be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Following burial a reception will be held at the church.
