Eleanor Marie O'Henley
Eleanor Marie O’Henley, 96, of Hanover, formerly of Baltimore, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at Hanover Hall Nursing Center.
Born on Saturday, March 24, 1923 in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Eleanor Manson Cyr. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Alexander O’Henley, who died in 1981; a sister, Connie Greenway; and a brother, Alfred Cyr. Eleanor enjoyed knitting and gambling.
Survivors include a son, Neil O’Henley and his wife, Joan, of Oakland, CA; a daughter, Barbara Kirby and her husband, Harry, of Spring Grove; four grandchildren, Peter and Gretchen O’Henley and Michael and Sean Kirby; four great-grandchildren, Daniela, Rafial, Liv and Dylan; three sisters, Jean Cyr, Sister Eleanor Marie Cyr, and Rita Haskell; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 2595 Interstate Drive, Suite 100, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
