Edythe J. Dell

Edythe J. Dell, 93, of Cross Keys Village, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 8, 2017 at UPMC Pinnacle Hanover.

Born on Tuesday, July 8, 1924 in York, she was a daughter of the late Emerson Allison, Sr. and Anna R. Williams Allison. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Royal S. Dell, Jr., who died in 2002. Edythe was a homemaker, beautician and housekeeper. A member of Immaculate Conception of BVM Catholic Church, she enjoyed cooking and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include a son, Larry S. Dell and his wife, Barbara, of Hanover; a daughter, Darla K. Angel and her husband, Ed, of Littleton, NC; five grandchildren, Douglas Dell and his wife, Cynthia “Jo”, Matthew Dell and his husband, Dan Beliveau, Scott Angel and his wife, Carrington, Mollie Hortman and her husband, Jeff, and Jason Angel; six great-grandchildren, Ryan and Kaitlin Dell, Carter and Davis Angel, Rachel Hortman and Aaron Angel; one great-great-grandchild, Bailey Dell; a half-brother, Emerson Allison, Jr.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover with The Rev. Michael Letteer officiating. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery. The family will receive friends at a viewing to be held one hour prior to the service.
