Edward L. Duttera, Sr., 86, of Hanover, died Saturday, November 29, 2008 at Hanover Hall.Born, February 23, 1922, in Hanover, he was a son of the late William C. and Bessie Long Duttera. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Margaret B. Duttera, who died in 2007, and a son, William A. Duttera. Mr. Duttera was a self employed residential painter, and served with the US Army during World War II, along with his four brothers, in the European and Pacific Theaters.Survivors include his son, Edward L. Duttera, Jr. of Hanover; four grandchildren, LT Commander Anthony Duttera, U.S.N., Craig Jacobs, Tonya Crowson, and April Power; and a step-granddaughter, Becci Quinn.
