Edmond Burnell “Ed” Frock, Jr., 85, of Hanover, husband of Jane E. Frock, entered into God’s eternal care on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at his home.
Born on Monday, May 9, 1937 in Hanover, he was a son of the late Eby and Becky Frock. A 1955 graduate of the Valley Forge Military Academy, he was a member of St. John's Church at New Chester. From the young age of 12, Ed fell in love with trucking. In 1968, he purchased H.M. Kelly, Inc. Trucking, and along with his brother Dan, founded Frock Bros. Trucking. He was an avid off-shore sport fisherman and was also a specialty car enthusiast.
Surviving, in addition to his wife of 17 years, is a son, David Benjamin Frock and his wife, Katie Marie, of Ocean City, MD; a daughter, Alane S. Maltese and her husband, Robert, of Fayetteville, AR; a step-daughter, Greta Nott Geisler and her husband, Jerry; step-sons, Tony Robinson and his wife, Jenny, all of Hanover, and Scott Robinson of York; three grandchildren, Christian and Nikki Bergman; several great-grandchildren; and a brother, J. Daniel Frock and his wife, Deb, of Hanover. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Susie Frock; his second wife, Peggy Frock; a sister, Judy Frock; and a brother, Jim Frock.
The funeral will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, August 12, 2022 at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc., 311 Broadway in Hanover. Burial will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends at viewings to be held at the funeral home from 6 to 8:00 PM Thursday and 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM Friday.
