Earl D. Anthony, 84, of Hanover, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Transitions Healthcare Gettysburg.
Born on Tuesday, March 31, 1936, in Hanover, he was a son of Ray Edward and Mary Jacoby Anthony. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Joyce Anthony, who died in 2020; a son, David Anthony; and six siblings, Robert, Ray, Edward, Geraldine, Miriam, and “Sis”. Earl was a lifetime member of Green Springs Rod & Gun Club, an avid outdoorsman, and enjoyed time with family on long drives.
Survivors include three sons, Timothy “Tim” and his wife, Karolyn, Dean and his wife, Peggy, and Jamie and his companion, Kim; six grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
In compliance with health and public safety directives, no services are planned at this time.
