Dorothy Mae Coffey, 81, of Hanover, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 28, 2010 at the Cross Keys Village—The Brethren Home Community.
Born on December 6, 1928 in Chambersburg, she was the only child of the late Frank and Viola Rosenberry Ridgely and wife of the late Robert Coffey, who died in 1997. She lived in Westminster, MD for most of her life and worked as a seamstress for many years at Joseph A. Banks in Hampstead. She enjoyed her cats and kids as well as reading and gardening, especially growing flowers and cacti.
She is survived by her daughter, Victoria Bosley; a son Robert “Robin” Coffey, both of Hanover; two grandchildren, Brandi Lynn Bosley and Mark Dana Bosley; three great-grandchildren, Casey Bosley, Amber Bosley and Ashley Hyneckeal and a great-great-grandson, Braedon Bosley
Services will be held privately. Burial will be in Norland Cemetery in Chambersburg.
