Doris M. Brillhart

Doris M. Brillhart, 93, of New Oxford, formerly of Hanover, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at Cross Keys Village - The Brethren Home Community.

Born on Saturday, January 12, 1929 in Binghamton, NY, she was the daughter of the late Grace Mummert. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ross H. Brillhart, who died in 2019; and her daughter in law, Margaret “Peggy” Miller Brillhart. Doris was a home maker for many years and then was employed by Lincoln Intermediate until her retirement. She was a member of St. Paul's (Dubs) Union Church, loved to volunteer at Guthrie Memorial Library, and enjoyed getting together with her friends to play cards and travel.

Surviving her memory are two children, David R. Brillhart, of Spring Grove, and his companion, Marsha Souza, and Jill L. LeGore and her husband, Anthony, of Hanover; four grandchildren, Nichole Fowler and her husband Christopher, Kathryn Hall and her husband, Anthony, all of Quarryville, Alex LeGore and his wife, Tasha, of New Oxford, and Abigail Moreira and her husband, Nick, of Beaver; eight great grandchildren, Kaylin, Kohen, Jordan, Maycie, Hailey, Emily, Theo, and a baby girl due in September; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 22, 2022 at 10 AM at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc with the Rev. Susan E. Fritz officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in St Pauls Dubs Union Church Cemetery with a reception to follow for family and friends.
