Donald C. Wolfe

Donald C. Wolfe, 73, of Hanover, husband of Bev Wolfe, entered into God’s eternal care on Friday, January 25, 2019 at UPMC Pinnacle Hanover.

Born on Monday, March 5, 1945 in Hanover, he was a son of the late Charles E. and Romaine E. Rohrbaugh Wolfe. A 1963 graduate of South Western High School, he retired from Hanover Wire Cloth after 43 years of service. Don enjoyed playing the lottery and watching football; but most of all, he loved spending time with family especially his grandchildren.

Surviving, in addition to his wife of 24 years, is a son, Steven L. Wolfe and his wife, Beth; a step-daughter, Amy Lehigh; two grandchildren, Logan and Megan Wolfe; a brother, Gary Wolfe and his wife, Linda; a sister, Joanne Hershey, all of Hanover; and several nephews. He was preceded in death by a nephew, Chad Wolfe.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 8 PM Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
