Donald C. "Don" Weaver

Donald C. “Don” Weaver, 80, of Hanover, beloved husband of Elaine Unger Weaver, entered into God’s eternal care on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Wellspan York Hospital.

Born on Thursday, August 1, 1940 in Hanover, he was the son of the late Donald M. and Ruth Marchio Weaver. A 1958 graduate of Eichelberger High School, he retired after many years of service with SKF in Hanover and was a longtime member of Emmanuel United Church of Christ. Don enjoyed fishing, but especially loved to spend time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife of 58 years, survivors include two daughters, Donna Weaver Sneeringer and her husband, Jeff, and Karen Weaver Wright and her husband, Joe, all of Hanover; and six grandchildren, Jason, Andrew and Emily Sneeringer, and Seth, Luke and Sam Wright.

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Emmanuel United Church of Christ with The Rev. Peter Seiler, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to and immediately following the service.
