Donald R. Wagner, 74, loving husband of Yupa Wagner of Hanover, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 6, 2014 at Hanover Hospital.
Born on Wednesday, July 19, 1939 in Hanover, he was a son of the late Walter and Mary Storm Wagner, and was also preceded in death by two sisters, Nadine Yingling and Miriam Amsbacher; and a brother, Burnell Wagner. Mr. Wagner was a former employee at Sonoco of Hanover and enjoyed playing cards with his friends.
In addition to his wife of 17 years, he is survived by a sister, Betty Marshall of Hanover; two step-sons, Jesse and Chris Birster; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 11 AM Friday, January 10, 2014 at Panebaker Funeral Home, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover with The Rev. Dr. Daniel M. Yeiser officiating. Burial will follow in the East Berlin Cemetery. The family will receive friends at a viewing to be held 10-11 AM Friday at the funeral home.
