Donald L. Gentry
Donald L. Gentry, 75, of Hanover, passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at Wellspan York Hospital.
Born on Tuesday, October 7, 1947, he was a son of the late John Sr. and Ethel M. Powell Gentry. Donald was a 1966 graduate of Valley High School and retired in 2004 from what is now known as BAE Systems. He also volunteered with the VFW Post 2506 in the color guard and was a NASCAR and Yankees fan.
Surviving his memory are two brothers, John Gentry Jr. and Alvin E. Gentry; and two nieces, Cindy Davidson and her husband, Michael, and Cathy Myers and her husband, Jeff.
A gathering of family and friends will occur on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 from 2-4 PM at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc. Burial will be held privately in Rest Haven Cemetery.
