Devin Bingaman

Devin Bingaman, 29, of Fayetteville, died on Friday, July 31, 2020 at his home.

Born on Sunday, April 7, 1991 in Hagerstown, he was a son of Shawn A. (Erika) Bingaman of Gardners and Dawn Atherton (Donnie Reihart) Miller of Greencastle. Devin was a creative and talented cook who was employed by CJ’s BBQ Smokehouse in Chambersburg. He had a keen interest in automobiles and enjoyed spending time building and collecting model cars. He also enjoyed being outdoors, hiking and fishing, but will be long remembered for his interest in Herpetology, the study of reptiles and amphibians – especially snakes.

Surviving, in addition to his parents and step-parents, are his six siblings, Courtney (Josh) Richer of Greencastle, Alison Rock of Breezewood, Sydney (Kyle King) Rock of Sharpsburg, Chandelle (Max Merlina) Bingaman of Enola, Brandon (Alison Etter) Rock of Gardners, and Michaela Bingaman of New York; paternal grandparents, Raymond E. (Rhonda) Bingaman of Delray, WV, Sharon Eichelberger of Martinsburg, WV, William (Angelika) Arnsparger of Columbus, OH, and Christy Podlas of Sharpsburg, MD; maternal grandparents, Sue Martin of Needmore and Lloyd Welsh of Greencastle; nieces and nephews, Peyton and Deacon Richer, and Savannah, Kylie, Evelyn and Gabriel King; and his aunts and uncles, Eric Bingaman, Shari Spielman, Roscoe Kreps, Angi Bingaman, Matt Arnsparger, Heather Knable, Laura Welsh (Winter Saunders), Lloyd Welsh, Jr.

The family will receive friends at a viewing to be held from 2 to 4 PM on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Panebaker Funeral Home, 311 Broadway, Hanover.

In compliance with health and public safety directives, those attending the service will be required to wear masks and attendance inside the funeral home will be limited to 25 people at a time.

A gathering for family and friends will be held from 3 to 5 PM on Sunday, August 9, 2020 at the Kauffman Community Center, 7289 Ruritan Drive, Chambersburg, PA 17202.
