Debra Carol Gillman

Debra Carol Gillman, 70, of York, passed away on Monday, October 16, 2023 at Wellspan York Hospital.

Born on Sunday, August 9, 1953 in Montclair, New Jersey, she was a daughter of the late Edwin and Gladys May Kostal Gillman. Debra was a 1971 graduate of West Milford High School in New Jersey and also obtained her bachelor’s degree. She loved going out to eat, socializing, shopping, and music. Debra will be remembered for her generosity to others and for being a social butterfly.

Survivors include four siblings, Janice Kline and her husband, Steven, Robert Gillman and his wife, Maggie, Dr. Edwin C. Gillman and his wife, Tina, and Wendy Sue Gillman; seven nieces and nephews; five great nieces; and two great nephews.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, October 27, 2023 at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery.
