Deborah Ann (Fedastian) Bixby, 64, of Hanover, entered into God’s eternal care on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at her home.
Born on Thursday, October 4, 1956 in Downingtown, PA, she was a daughter of the late John Fedastian, Sr. and Helen Kobaleski Fedastian. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Elaine Christine Medernach.
Deborah worked for the Carroll County Public School District as a teacher for 35 years and was a member of the McSherrystown Moose Lodge No. 720. She also enjoyed gardening and collecting antiques and Tigger figurines.
Survivors include a brother, John Fedastian, Jr.; ex-husband, with whom she remained good friends with, Robert Bixby; close friends, Anthony “Butch” Wolf and Mickey Ages; and her many friends from St. Vincent de Paul Parish, St. Joseph Catholic Church, and the Carroll County School District.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at 1PM at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover with The Rev. Michael Reid, II officiating. The memorial service will be live streamed beginning at 1PM.
In compliance with health and public safety directives, those attending will be required to wear masks, be socially distanced and attendance inside the funeral home will be limited.
