Visitation: A viewing for David will be from 9:00am until 11:00am in the church parlor.
DAVID HENRY HERRMANN, 43, of Hanover, passed away Wednesday evening, February 28, 2007, at Hershey Medical Center. Born on July 31, 1963 in New York City, he was the son of Joyce Davis Herrmann of Hanover and the late Henry J. Hank Herrmann. A Service of Remembrance will be held 11:00am Saturday at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 129 Charles Street, Hanover. A viewing for David will be from 9:00am until 11:00am in the church parlor. Officiating at the service will be Rev. Eric B. Stenman Chaplain of Hanover Hospital. Interment will be 2:00pm March 5 in Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, NY. Panebaker Funeral Home, 311 Broadway, Hanover is assisting the Herrmann family with arrangements. David was a member of the Class of 1981 of Newtown (PA) High School. He was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church through which he helped at the HACC Homeless Shelter. He had been employed at ProPac in McSherrystown. He was a great sports fan. David loved baseball and followed the Yankees and the Orioles. Bowling, though, was his sport of choice and he excelled at that. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brother Andrew Herrmann and wife Linda of Ossining, NY, and his sister Nancy Comegna and husband William of Westminster, MD. He was a special uncle to Tina Niles and husband Ryan, Leslie Herrmann, Brian Comegna and wife Patty and Jason Comegna.


Memorials: The Herrmann family requests that memorial contributions in David's name be made to Wellspan Dialysis/Littlestown, 43 S. Columbus Avenue, Littlestown, PA 17340 or to the St. Mark Lutheran Church Organ Fund, 129 Charles Street, Hanover, PA 17331.
