Dave Conroy, 65, of Hanover, formerly of Caldwell, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at his home.
Born on Saturday, January 26, 1952 in Glen Ridge, NJ, he was a son of the late Raymond and Dorothy Schneider Conroy. A member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Hanover, Dave graduated from Morris Catholic High School in Denville, NJ and received his Associate’s Degree in Accounting from County College of Morris in Randolph, NJ. A web pressman for most of his working career, he went on to retire from Gettysburg College in 2014. Dave had a passion for music and loved to play the guitar. He was a member of a local band known as “Joyryde”, of which he was the lead guitarist.
Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Kate O’Leary Conroy; two children, Rachel and Evan Conroy, both of Hanover; two brothers, Thomas Conroy and his wife, Kimberley, of North Carolina and Raymond Conroy, II, and his wife, Tina, of Virginia; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Per his request, services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
