Darla “Dolly” Geiman Kuhn, 76, of Hanover, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 6, 2016 at her home.
Born on Saturday, March 16, 1940 in Hanover, she was a daughter of the late Wilmer W. and Evelyn M. Brady Geiman. She was also preceded in death by her husband of nearly 57 years, Raymond B. Kuhn, who died on November 4, 2015; and two brothers, Laverne and Thomas Geiman.
A 1958 graduate of Delone Catholic High School, she retired after 48 years of service from Middleburg Manufacturing Company. She was a member of the St. Vincent dePaul Parish and enjoyed shopping, cooking, baking and sewing. Perhaps her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her granddaughters and great-grandsons.
Survivors include two sons, Christopher Kuhn and his wife, Sherry, and Stephen Kuhn and his wife, Lori, all of Hanover; four granddaughters, Tonia Kuhn, Ashley Smith, Chelsea Lupian and Brianna Kuhn; two great-grandsons, Aaron Lupian and Landyn Smith; two sisters, Ruthann Selby, and Mary Warehime and her husband, Robert, all of Hanover; two sisters-in-law, Judith Geiman and Lewinita Granger Geiman; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am Thursday, November 10, 2016 at St. Vincent dePaul Church with The Rev. Michael P. Reid, II celebrating. Burial will be private in St. Vincent Cemetery. The family will receive friends at a viewing to be held from 6 to 8pm Wednesday at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover. A prayer service will follow at 8pm.
