Daniele L. (Schall) Shotwell, 32, of Hanover, wife of Halston Shotwell, passed away peacefully while surrounded by her family on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at Penn State Hershey Medical Center following a long illness.
Born on Saturday, July 11, 1992 in Latrobe, she was a daughter of Jake and Deanna Schall of Hanover. She attended Penn State University in State College and enjoyed her time teaching children at a daycare. Gifted with her hands, she was an amazing seamstress, spending countless hours making clothing and Halloween costumes for her daughters. She enjoyed baking and decorating cakes and loved to watch her children dance at the Always Dancing Studio in Hanover.
In addition to her husband of eleven years and her parents, she is survived by her two daughters, Ember L. and Avery L. Shotwell; her siblings, Brett “BJ” Hough and Ashley Eck; her maternal grandmother, Yvonne Kelly; paternal grandfather, Jacob Schall and his wife, Jacki; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her paternal great-grandmother, Mary Rubino.
There will be a gathering of family and friends from 4-6:00 pm Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc., 311 Broadway in Hanover.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s favorite charity.
