Daniel E. Bosley, 83, of Dover, passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at UPMC Hanover.
Born on Friday, January 24, 1941 in Cockeysville, MD, he was a son of the late Robert W. and Helen May Albright Bosley. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Gail Smith Bosley, who died in 2005; a daughter, Julie Millar; and infant daughter, Luanne Bosley; a sister, Gloria Norris; and a brother, Donald Albright. Daniel will be remembered as a hard worker, who retired in 2005 from Harley-Davidson after 39 years of dedicated service. He attended St. Paul’s (Dubs) Union Church and was a member of the Hanover Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #227. He enjoyed going to flea markets, watching NASCAR races, being outside and working in his yard, and everything Harley-Davidson.
Survivors include his companion of 17 years, Judi E. Sanders of Hanover; a granddaughter, Tiffany Shetzler and her husband, Avery, of Dover; and two sisters, Shirley Paul and Lorraine Murray and her husband, Robert, all of Hampstead, MD.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00AM Monday, March 18, 2024 at Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc., 311 Broadway in Hanover with The Rev. Bonnie J. Whittier officiating. Burial will follow in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
