Dan Boyer, 84, of Hanover, beloved husband of Barb Kaufman Boyer, passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2024 at UPMC Hanover Hospital.
Born on May 7, 1940 in Carlisle, he was a son of the late Samuel and Mary Ford Boyer. Dan attended Servant’s Way Church in East Berlin, and enjoyed swimming, reading, traveling, and spending time with family.
Surviving, in addition to his wife of nearly 34 years, are two children Scott Boyer (Luz), and Dani Gibson (Doug) four grandchildren, Kenisha Connor (Ben), Derek Boyer (Emily), Aaron Gibson, and Kaitlyn Zeigler; three great grandchildren, Grace, Emberley, and Theo; two sisters, Pat Boyer, and Jill Speelman (Bob); and Barb’s children, Bekki Zeigler and Brad Zeigler.
A memorial service will be held a later date.
