Curvin Snyder III, York
Curvin Snyder III, 63, formerly of York, died Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at his fiancee’s home in Hanover.
Born on January 12, 1949 in York, he was the son of Florence Englar and her husband, Jesse, of York and the late Curvin Snyder Jr. He was also preceded in death by a son, Westley R. Snyder and two sisters, Sandra Cramer and Florence Snyder Jr.
He was an avid hunter and lifelong member of the National Rifle Association.
In addition to his mother and step-father, he is survived by his fiancée, Kathy Hare; a son, Curvin Snyder, IV and his wife, Elizabeth, all of Hanover; two brothers, William George Snyder and Benjamin Snyder; a sister, Sherri Detter, all of York and several nieces and nephews.
Following cremation, a private graveside service will be held in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
