Creda M. Cooper, 84, of Dover, entered into God’s eternal care Friday, July 20, 2012 at York Hospital.
Born August 17, 1927 in Hanover, she was a daughter of the late Ezra G. and Mabel S. Allison Wildasin and was also preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Clyde H. Cooper, who died in 2009; three brothers and three sisters. Creda was a member of Zion United Methodist Church in York and enjoyed participating in the Heritage Senior Center’s activities. She enjoyed reading, cooking and working in her flower gardens.
Survivors include three daughters, Donna E. Veihdeffer and her husband, Bob, of Curwensville, Diane C. Strock of Chambersburg, and Dawn C. Bowling of Lewisberry; one son, Lee A. Cooper and his wife, Bonnie, of Etters; three brothers, Norman S. Wildasin and Merrill L. Wildasin, both of Hanover, and Darrell E. Wildasin of Spring Grove; two sisters, Mildred W. Duttera of York and Gladys M. Wildasin of Hanover; six grandchildren, Kelli Norman, Nathan Strock, Rebecca Cook, Emily and Erica Bowling, and Zachary Cooper; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 12:00 pm Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at Panebaker Funeral Home, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover with The Rev. Kimberly S. Tomaszewski officiating. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery. The family will receive friends at a viewing to be held 11:00am-12:00pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
