Constance E. “Connie” Reese, 80, of Hanover, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, March 22, 2010 at Hanover Hall.
Born October 7, 1929 in Carlisle, she was a daughter of the late Melvin A. and Irene Champion Graham and wife of the late Mark Lee “John” Reese who died in 1988. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Carroll L. Graham, who died in 2005.

A 1947 graduate of Eichelberger High School, she worked Hanover Brands and Alwine Brick and later for Alloy Rods Corporation as a secretary for 27 years before her retirement in 1996.

She played the organ and directed the choir at Otterbein United Brethren Church during the 1950’s and 1960’s and enjoyed planning and attending her class reunions. She will be remembered for her Jitterbug. She had attended the Hanover First Church of God.

Survivors include her son, Dirk Wildasin and his wife, Vicki, of Spring Grove; two daughters, Stacy Brodbeck and her husband, Dave, of Hanover and Misti Wildasin of Spring Grove and three grandchildren, Amy Stayrook and her husband, Chris, Chad Brodbeck and his wife, Rebecca and Nathan Brodbeck and his wife, Toshia.

The funeral will be held 11 am on Thursday, March 25, 2010 at Panebaker Funeral Home, Inc., 311 Broadway, Hanover with The Rev. Matthew Pensinger officiating. Burial will follow in Rest Haven Cemetery. The viewing will be held from 5-7 pm Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be Chad Brodbeck, Nathan Brodbeck, Dave Brodbeck, Chris Stayrook, Amy Stayrook and Dane Graham.
